Chilly Hollow Brewing Company

We finally made it out to Chilly Hollow Brewing Co., and it did not disappoint. Set on a working cattle farm in Berryville, the brewery nails that perfect mix of wide-open views, great beer, and a super laid-back vibe.

They brew everything right on site — you can seriously taste the difference. Plus, they offer local wine, cider, and even grass-fed beef raised right in their backyard. It’s one of those places where you could easily spend a whole afternoon just hanging out.

John and I tried their version of Guinness, and wow — it was excellent! We went to Ireland last fall and got the complete education on how Guinness should taste and how vital a good pour is. Chilly Hollow nailed it. Smooth, rich, and poured just right — no shortcuts.

Between the great beer, incredible mountain views, and easygoing atmosphere, Chilly Hollow Brewing is worth the drive. It’s just a little way off Route 7, but it feels like a different world once you’re there.
