Harvest Gap Brewery

Harvest Gap Brewery has become one of the most scenic destinations west of Leesburg, set on a working cattle and grain farm just outside Hillsboro. Owned and operated by Loudoun locals Mike and Katherine Virts, the property pairs deep agricultural roots with an impressive rustic setup anchored by a timber-frame taproom and a wide wrap-around porch overlooking a 20-acre lake and the Blue Ridge foothills. The expansive grounds feature a brand-new outdoor music stage, open fields for catching mountain sunsets, and a relaxed, family- and dog-friendly patio.

The taproom serves a diverse, rotating draft list spanning crisp lagers, seasonal sours, juicy IPAs, and rich stouts, complemented by local hard cider and wine options. To pair with the pints, the kitchen prepares casual comfort fare, including handmade pizzas, hot paninis, Angus burgers, and warm Bavarian pretzels. Between the weekend live music lineups and sweeping mountain gap vistas.
