We’ve been to Georges Mill Farm more times than I can count — and every time, we leave with something amazing. Their goat cheese is top-tier, their sausage is rich and flavorful, and yes… we’ve got a growing collection of their adorable goat t-shirts (the swag game is strong).
This is an eighth-generation family farm that’s been around since the 1700s — you can feel the history the second you pull in. Molly and Sam, who run the cheesemaking operation, have really built something special here, focusing on pasture-raised animals and small-batch, farmstead products like cheese, caramel, gelato, and soap.
The farm store is always open and stocked with their signature goat cheese, pork, and other handcrafted goodies — perfect for a Saturday stop. The farm itself isn’t open for roaming, but they do host special events like baby goat season in the spring, barn dances, and Loudoun County farm tours.
And this fall? We’re finally planning to stay overnight at their Civil War-era stone farmhouse B&B. It’s been on our list for years — peaceful, historic, and right in the heart of western Loudoun.
